A: Exactly! And this isn't the only case in Akita Prefecture; an elderly man was attacked by a bear in a field on Saturday as well. He had injuries on his face and is being treated in a hospital now. 😨
   B: I've heard about the bear attacks this year – it's sad to see so many incidents. Police are increasing patrols and issuing warnings against Asian black bears. 😢

A: You're right. And in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, another elderly man was attacked by a bear near his house on Saturday afternoon while trying to scare it away. He has injuries on his hand and thigh but is expected to be okay. 💔
