A North Korean state-run media outlet has reported that South Korea is politically paralyzed and in chaos as President Yoon Suk-yeol faces a detention warrant after his short-lived martial law declaration. The Korean Central News Agency on Friday reported that the recent development in the South has resulted in "paralysis of its state administration and spiraling socio-political confusion." The report also said South Koreans protesting Yoon accuse him of "having fomented unrest through ceaseless war drills" with the United States and Japan, and declaring martial law to maintain his power. The report cited foreign media as saying that what South Korea repeatedly advocated as its "liberal democracy" has collapsed. South Korea's Yonhap News Agency said the report appears to be an effort to highlight the North Korean regime's stability to its people by comparing it with the current situation in the South.
