B: Oh yeah, right! It was called the "No Kings" protests, wasn't it? I remember seeing some posts on social media. People gathered at more than 2,600 locations across the US, which is more than in June. They were upset about the government ignoring Congress and being too tough on immigration.

A: That sounds intense! They even had rallies near the Capitol and marches in places like Chicago, protesting strict immigration policies and the use of National Guard troops to restore order.

B: Yeah, that's what I heard. Some people were worried about their future and whether their kids would have the same freedoms we do now.

A: I can understand why they might be concerned! Do you know if there was any trouble at the protests?

B: Not much from what I read, thankfully. But it's always a little scary when people are upset and gather in large groups like that.
