People in Bangladesh are feeling the aftermath of a tropical cyclone that barreled across the country in recent days. Local media say at least 24 people were killed. Cyclone Sitrang slammed into Bangladesh's southern coast late Monday, bringing violent winds and rain as it travelled north. Reports say about 10,000 homes and over 6,000 hectares of cropland were damaged. Millions are without power. Communication lines are down, making it hard to assess the damage. The reports also say refugee camps in the country's southeast for Rohingya people fleeing Myanmar have not been severely affected.
