A United Nations report says East and Southeast Asian nations will continue to see a surge in the trafficking of synthetic drugs.

It also says large volumes of methamphetamines are being produced in the area called the Golden Triangle. The remote region is where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet.
