Three people apparently stabbed on train in Osaka NHK

Japanese police say a man apparently stabbed passengers on a train in Osaka, leaving three people wounded. Police say none of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.

A railway worker at Rinku-town Station in Izumisano City alerted police around 10:30 on Sunday, saying that people have been stabbed and injured.

Police say the suspect was apprehended on the platform of the station and was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide.

Police officers and emergency responders are investigating the incident.
