Helicopter carrying Iran president makes rough landing, local media say NHK

Iranian state media and other outlets report that a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has made a rough landing in a northwestern part of the country.

The media broke the news on Sunday, saying poor weather is preventing rescuers from reaching the site in the province of East Azerbaijan.

But the outlets have not reported on the condition of the president and others on board the helicopter.
