A: Hey! Did you hear about that crazy accident in Adachi Ward last month?

B: No! What happened? Tell me!

A: It was terrible! This guy, Yokoo Yusuke, drove into a bunch of people.

B: Oh my! Seriously? How many people?

A: Sadly, two people died. And twelve others were injured! It was a chain reaction with eight cars involved.

B: Wow… that’s awful. What was he doing?

A: Apparently, he ran a red light and was going really fast - like 76 kilometers per hour!

B: That's so dangerous! What happened then?

A: He hit a woman who was crossing the street. She was 28 years old. She was a Filipino national, sadly.

B: That's heartbreaking. Did they catch him?

A: Yes! They arrested him first for stealing the car from a dealership. Then, they rearrested him just on Monday.

B: What did he say? Why did he do it?

A: He told the police he ran because he thought a patrol car was chasing him! He was scared of getting caught.

B: Unbelievable!  And he said the car swerved before the accident?

A: Yeah, he said that too. He’s not saying much about the new charges now, though.

B: I heard they finally released his name.

A: They did! They had been keeping it quiet, but now they’ve decided to share it. They needed to make sure he understood what was happening.
