1. Mayank Bidawatka, the co-founder of Koo, has launched a new photo-sharing app called PicSee on October 16th, 2025. The app automatically detects and shares photos of friends from your camera roll without requiring you to use messaging systems like WhatsApp or Instagram. 2. If your friends are on PicSee, you can send them a sharing request. Once accepted, the app will identify new photos of them in your camera roll and prompt you to share those as well. Photos are stored locally on your device and can be reviewed before sending. 3. PicSee aims to solve the problem of friends having hundreds of photos of each other that aren't shared due to forgetfulness or oversight. The app offers privacy controls, an encrypted connection during photo sharing, and a chat feature for users in a picture to comment. It also plans to add features such as album creation, duplicate removal, and integration with Google Photos/iCloud.
