Israel's military announced on Monday that another group of 11 Israeli hostages held by Hamas has been released and handed over to the Red Cross. This brings the number of hostages released by Hamas to 69, including foreign nationals. Israel, meanwhile, has set 117 jailed Palestinians free. During a four-day pause in fighting that began on Friday, Hamas promised to release hostages in exchange for the release by Israel of Palestinian prisoners.
