Indonesian presidential candidate Anies Baswedan says he'll contest the results of last month's leadership race in the Constitutional Court. The outcome of the vote is expected by March 20. Local media say Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto is likely to win.

Anies said on Wednesday he's preparing to file his case, but will decide whether to follow through after the results. The former Jakarta governor insists the voting lacked state neutrality. And he says irregularities should not go unchecked.

Prabowo picked the son of outgoing President Joko Widodo as his running mate, a move some observers believe strengthened his position in the election.

Unofficial counts give him nearly 60 percent of the vote, with the rest shared between Anies and Ganjar Pranowo.

Candidates can contest the outcome at the Constitutional Court no later than three days after the results are made public.
