A Russian media outlet has released a video purportedly showing an interview with the commander of Russia's Black Sea Fleet. Admiral Viktor Sokolov is among those that Ukraine claims it killed in its attack on Crimea last week. The TV station affiliated with the Russian defense ministry aired the footage on Wednesday. In the video, Sokolov says the Black Sea Fleet is carrying out tasks confidently. The footage is apparently aimed at showing him alive and well, but it is unclear when and where the clip was filmed. Sokolov assumed the post in September last year. Ukrainian Special Forces said on Monday that the commander had been killed, along with other 33 officers, in a missile attack last week on fleet headquarters in the port city of Sevastopol. Ukrainian officials wrote in a social media post on Tuesday, "Available sources claim that among the dead was the commander."
