An unmanned capsule from the US space agency NASA returned to Earth on Sunday, capping its flight around the moon for about 25 days. NASA says "Orion" re-entered the atmosphere at around 40 thousand kilometers per hour Sunday. It splashed into the Pacific Ocean around 40 minutes later, after using parachutes to slow down. "Orion" blasted into space last month. It is part of the Artemis program -- which aims to put astronauts back on the moon for the first time in over half a century. Orion will be carried in a few weeks' time to the Kennedy Space Center, where NASA plans to analyze data for the future mission. Among the matters to be researched will be the craft's ability to withstand the high temperature on re-entry into the atmosphere.
