China's exports continued to fall in the two months to February compared to the same period a year ago. Shipments to the US and EU member states are declining amid concerns over slowdowns in those economies. Customs authorities said Tuesday that exports for January-February shrank by 6.8% in US dollar terms from a year earlier. The figures have been in negative territory since October. Shipments were down for personal computers, home appliances and clothing. Imports fell 10.2%, indicating domestic demand still lacks strength. China's trade with Russia was an exception. Its total value jumped 25.9%. The two countries have been increasing their trade since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine began just over a year ago.
