The Simpsons predicted US 2024 election map with eerie accuracy in the year 2000

The Simpsons has long been known for its strange ability to make accurate predictions of the future, from Barbie mania to Donald Trump ’s criminal charges, but now fans have said the show predicted the 2024 election map perfectly.

In an episode dating from 2000 called Bart to the Future, Lisa is shown succeeding Donald Trump in office, 16 years before he first stepped foot in the white house. In a clip Lisa can be heard addressing her staff saying: “We’ve inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump”.

In another famous clip from a mini-episode called Trumptastic Voyage dating from 2015, Trump can be seen on an escalator going past a sign which reads Trump 2012, Trump 2016, then Trump 2020, and finally Trump 2024.

Another uncanny similarity between the show and real life got fan’s talking when Kamala Harris attended her inauguration as the first female US Vice President in a purple suit, pearl necklace and earrings that were almost identical to the outfit Lisa wore in the Oval Office.

While the Simpsons prediction of Lisa becoming first female president had Kamala Harris hopeful for another coincidence, it turns out that the episode did make another prediction, but not the one Democrats were hoping for
