Japanese pitcher Fujinami Shintaro of the Oakland Athletics made a bitter major league debut against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday. He faced two-way star Ohtani Shohei, a rival from his days in high school baseball.
                
Fujinami started the team&#039;s second game of the regular season at home. He moved to the Athletics from the Hanshin Tigers in Japan.
