Police in Australia say five children have died after falling from an inflatable castle blown off by wind. The accident occurred at a primary school in the city of Devonport in the island state of Tasmania on Thursday. The police say a gust of wind swept up the inflatable castle and other soft objects while schoolchildren were playing on them. Nine children plunged about 10 meters to the ground. The police say four others were seriously injured and are being treated in hospital. The inflatable castle and other objects were part of recreational activities for students to celebrate the last day of school before the summer holiday. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, "Young children on a fun day out together with their families and it turns to such horrific tragedy at this time of year." Morrison said his government will work closely with local officials to provide necessary support.
