Japan's internal affairs ministry said on Tuesday that the country's seasonally adjusted jobless rate stood at 2.8 percent in November. This was a rise of 0.1 percentage points over the figure for the previous month. Government data shows that the number of unemployed people decreased by 130,000 to 1.82 million. This was the fifth straight month the figure has been in decline. The difference in the two figures is accounted for by the way they are calculated.
