UK removes testing for vaccinated arrivals NHK

Fully vaccinated travelers can now enter Britain without undergoing coronavirus tests.

The government ended the requirement on Friday. Pre-departure tests were already scrapped last month.

Eligible people now only need to file a passenger locator form before entry to confirm vaccination status, travel history and contact details.

Daily coronavirus cases in Britain have recently declined from a peak of more than 200,000 to below 70,000. The British government also points to the relatively low number of people with severe symptoms.
