The chief of the World Health Organization says 18 attacks have been made on medical institutions in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion of the country. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters on Wednesday, "WHO has verified 18 attacks on health facilities, health workers and ambulances," leaving 10 people dead and 16 injured. Tedros said, "WHO continues to call on the Russian Federation to commit to a peaceful solution to this crisis and to allow safe, unimpeded access to humanitarian assistance for those in need."
