Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said the Russian military is sending new troops and called on Ukrainians to resist the offensive. Russian troops are advancing to surround Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. They are believed to be approaching the capital from three directions. Zelenskyy said in a video released on Saturday that the losses of Russian troops are enormous. He said the Russian military is bringing new columns of troops to Ukraine, but the Ukrainians have no intention of reducing the intensity of defense.
