'Drive My Car' wins best international feature NHK

Japanese film 'Drive My Car' has just picked up the Oscar for best international feature film.

The Hamaguchi Ryusuke film is based on a short story by author Murakami Haruki. It's about a stage director grappling with the death of his wife and his interactions with the woman assigned to be his driver.

The film already has an impressive trophy collection.
It won Best Screenplay at last year's Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Globe for Best Picture in the non-English language category.

It's the second time a Japanese movie has won the academy award for best international film. The first was "Departures" back in 2009.
