US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said her country is &quot;focused on what Russian forces do, not what Russia says.&quot;
                
Sherman said the only way to end this humanitarian catastrophe is through &quot;the complete withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukrainian territory and away from Ukraine&#039;s borders.&quot;
                
Ukraine&#039;s Ambassador to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, called on member nations to continue to support his country and implement sanctions on Russia.
                
Kyslytsya said, &quot;it is still a long way to a sustainable ceasefire and comprehensive de-escalation.&quot;
                
Russia&#039;s Ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, said his country is &quot;implementing humanitarian obligations it has taken upon itself&quot; in Ukraine. He did not mention the latest peace talks.
