The South Korean military says North Korea launched two projectiles from the eastern part of the country into the sea on Saturday.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea said the launches took place at around 6:00 p.m. from near the eastern city of Hamhung.
It said the projectiles flew about 110 kilometers and reached an altitude of about 25 kilometers.
