The United Nations' refugee agency says that as of Tuesday, more than 5.31 million people had fled Ukraine since Russia's invasion began in February. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees says about 2.94 million people escaped to Poland, followed by 790,000 to Romania, 500,000 to Hungary, and 430,000 to Moldova. It also says about 620,000 went to Russia.
