Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has stressed China's intention to boost cooperation with Russia to maintain international industrial supply chains as Western and other countries impose sanctions against Moscow.
Wang and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov spoke at a joint news conference after their talks in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang said China and Russia jointly oppose economic decoupling and the creation of supply chain barriers.
His comment comes amid the United States tightening restrictions on exports of advanced semiconductors to China, and other economic security measures.
Lavrov said at the beginning of the meeting that Russia and China's comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction have reached an unprecedented level.
The Russian foreign minister referred to last month's deadly attack on a concert hall near Moscow. Lavrov said the two countries will continue their cooperation against terrorism.
