Ukrainians worrying about Russian annexation NHK

Russian forces have reoriented their campaign in Ukraine toward the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. On Thursday, some Ukrainians said they worry the Russians may want to grab even more territory.

Authorities in the northern region of Chernihiv said Russian troops have hit a number of buildings, including schools. They said three people were killed.

Ukrainian forces in the northeastern region of Kharkiv launched a counteroffensive. They're not sure where the Russians will strike next.

Residents of southern Ukraine saw Russian leaders annex the Crimean Peninsula in 2014. Some fear the Russians may want to take control of another piece of their country.
