Ohtani hits home run for second consecutive game NHK

In Major League Baseball, Japanese two-way star Ohtani Shohei of the Los Angeles Angels has homered for the second consecutive game.

Facing the Oakland Athletics on Sunday, Ohtani was batting third as the designated hitter. He ripped a two-run homer into the center field stands in the first inning.

It was his eighth homer of the season and his 101st career home run in Major League Baseball.

The Angels defeated the Athletics 4 to 1, winning two games in a row.

On Saturday, Ohtani became the third Japanese player to reach 100 homers in the MLB.
