Canada bans 5G equipment from Huawei, ZTE NHK

Chinese officials blasted the decision as a violation of the "principle of market economy." Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said China is firmly opposed to the move and will conduct a comprehensive and serious evaluation.

Wang said officials will take all necessary steps to protect the rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
