Three people were killed in Yemen&#039;s capital, Sanaa, when a drone crashed into a neighborhood, after it was shot down.
                
Anti-government forces that control the capital said their air defenses shot down an armed drone belonging to Saudi Arabia&#039;s air force on Monday night. They said three passersby died after being struck by the downed aircraft.
                
The drone crashed into a busy area that contains a shopping mall and other facilities. Footage from the scene shows what appears to be pieces of a wrecked drone scattered around.
                
The incident took place amid a truce between the Saudi-backed government and the anti-government forces. The two sides have been engaged in a civil war for more than seven years. The two-month-long ceasefire is due to expire on June 2.
                
A spokesman for the anti-government forces accused Saudi Arabia of violating the truce and carrying out hostile acts in the capital&#039;s airspace.
                
Saudi Arabia has yet to issue a statement about the incident.
                
The United Nations has been urging the two sides to extend the truce. Observers say this latest incident could affect negotiations aimed at extending it.
