Ukraine's presidential office says the governor informed the president that 31 percent of the region's territory remains temporarily occupied by Russian forces, with another 5 percent liberated.
Zelenskyy also met Ukrainian service personnel, and thanked each of them for risking their lives to defend Ukraine's independence.
