Ukraine's president has said the country's military arsenal needs to grow as Russia's invasion of Ukraine nears its four-month mark. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, "We're pleading for more modern anti-missile weapons for our forces. Weapons have arrived but they are not enough." Ukrainian officials said they have received only about 10 percent of the weapons they've requested from their Western allies. They want deliveries to speed up. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Brussels on Tuesday. He is scheduled to hold talks with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov. NATO member nations are gathering on Wednesday to discuss how to provide Ukraine with the weapons it needs. Meantime, Russia's defense ministry is pledging to open a "humanitarian corridor" in the Luhansk region in Ukraine's east. The strategic city of Severodonetsk is under constant attack. That's forced civilians, along with Ukrainian soldiers, into the Azot chemical plant. Russia said the corridor would allow civilians to escape, and it's calling on Ukrainian soldiers holed up there to surrender. Luhansk's governor said around 500 civilians are still inside the plant. A leader of a pro-Russian separatist group in the region puts the number at around 1,000 to 1,200.
