A logbook from the US aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima is going under the hammer. US-based Heritage Auctions says the artifact was written by the co-pilot of the Enola Gay B29 on August 6, 1945, when the city was bombed. He jotted down the time the aircraft's engine was started and the time it took off. And immediately after the bomb was dropped, he wrote: "Just how many did we kill?" The highest bid as of 6:00 UTC on Friday was 400,000 dollars. Written materials from the crew of the Enola Gay have been auctioned before. Notes by the co-pilot fetched 40,000 dollars in 2015. Bids are being accepted through Saturday.
