A cargo plane operated by a Ukrainian airline crashed in northern Greece on Saturday, killing all eight crew members. The aircraft was carrying munitions.

Greek aviation authorities and others say the aircraft went down into farmland. It was flying from Serbia to Jordan in the Middle East.

Footage from the scene shows the plane in flames descending to the ground.

The plane was operated by a Ukrainian-based private airline. It was carrying more than 11 tons of munitions.

Greek media are reporting that the plane's signal was lost immediately after its pilot requested an emergency landing, citing engine trouble.
