The doctor said his team will continue to closely monitor the president while administering him the Paxlovid treatment. The medication is meant to stop the coronavirus from replicating in the body.
                
White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Ashish Jha told ABC News on Sunday that the president &quot;had a great day yesterday, was feeling well.&quot;
                
Jha said that as of late Saturday, none of the 17 people who had come into close contact with the president, including White House employees, tested positive for the virus.
