Ukrainian government officials say their country expects to start resuming exports of wheat and other grains via the Black Sea as early as this week. The officials told reporters on Monday that they will be technically ready to resume shipments from three Black Sea ports, including the one in Odesa, in two weeks. Ukraine's infrastructure minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said all cargo vessels will be accompanied by Ukrainian rescue ships. The country's agriculture minister said Ukraine currently has 10 billion dollars' worth of grain to export. He also stressed that the country needs to ship another estimated 20 billion dollars' worth of this season's harvest.
