Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged Turkey and the United Nations to make sure Russia keeps an agreement for Ukraine to resume grain exports from its Black Sea ports.

The Russian invasion has tied up tens of millions of tons of grain in Ukrainian ports. Officials from Turkey and the UN brokered the agreement on Friday to resume shipments.

But Russia attacked the southern port of Odesa with missiles the following day.

Zelenskyy said on Monday that Turkey and the UN are supposed to consider the safety of vessels carrying grain, and that his country will resume exports by all means.

Also on Monday, Ukrainian officials said they are pressing ahead with a plan to resume grain exports, expecting the first shipment to leave as early as this week. They also said they are preparing to resume shipments from all three of its Black Sea ports in two weeks.

The British Defence Ministry said in its analysis on Tuesday that Russia claimed to have hit a Ukrainian warship and a stockpile of anti-ship missiles at Odesa port, but "there is no indication that such targets were at the location the missiles hit."

It also said in its analysis Ukraine's anti-ship missiles have "significantly undermined" Russia's overall invasion plan, and that "Russia will continue to prioritize efforts to degrade and destroy Ukraine's anti-ship capability."
