Ukraine and Russia are trading accusations over shelling near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine's southeast. Ukraine's state nuclear power company Energoatom and other parties say on Friday missiles hit a power line at the site, which has been under the control of Russian forces since March. Officials with Energoatom said the power station is still operational and that it has not detected any radioactive leakage. It blamed Russia for the damage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned Russia for the shelling. In a video message released on Friday, he said any attack on the plant is "an open, brazen crime" and "an act of terror." The Russian defense ministry blamed the shelling on Ukrainian forces. The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, said on Monday that the situation at the plant is becoming more perilous by the day.
