Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant shelled again NHK

Ukraine's state nuclear power company Energoatom says Russia's military shelled the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant again on Thursday.

Energoatom said on social media that the attacks hit close to where radioactive material is stored, as well as a fire station located near the plant.

The company said radiation levels around the site have not changed, but that the situation is getting worse as several radiation sensors have been damaged.

Meanwhile, a pro-Russian senior official of the Zaporizhzhia regional government has accused Ukraine of launching the attacks.

A series of attacks on the nuclear power plant have been reported since last Friday. Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of perpetrating them.

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is one of the largest in Europe.
