Ukraine&#039;s national nuclear power company Energoatom says Russia shelled the southeastern city of Enerhodar, where the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is located, killing a plant worker walking near his home.
                
Energoatom says Russia shelled the city at least six times on Sunday. The attacks reportedly wounded two civilians.
                
Russia&#039;s state-run Tass news agency said on Sunday that a rocket strike by Ukrainian troops killed one civilian in a residential area of Enerhodar.
                
Ukraine and Russia have been blaming each other for the frequent shellings reported this month around the Zaporizhzhia plant, one of the largest nuclear plants in Europe.
                
Forty-two countries, including European Union members, Japan and the United States, have released a joint statement urging Russia to immediately withdraw its military forces from the Zaporizhzhia plant.
                
The statement, dated August 12, said Russia&#039;s control of the plant poses a danger to the plant&#039;s safety principles.
