Separate road crashes in Turkey kill dozens NHK

A truck has slammed into pedestrians in southeastern Turkey, killing at least 19 people and injuring 26 others.

Turkey's health minister Fahrettin Koca said that the incident occurred in Mardin Province on Saturday.

Footage from the scene shows a light blue truck going off the road without losing speed and ramming into pedestrians trying to flee.

In a separate incident in Turkey's southeastern province of Gaziantep, a bus crashed into multiple vehicles.

The health minister said in that accident at least 15 people died and 31 others were injured.
