Britain's new Prince of Wales says he will do all that he can to support King Charles III.
In his first statement as the Prince of Wales, William, the King's eldest son, said that Queen Elizabeth was by his side at his happiest moments and during the saddest days of his life.
He said that it will be some time before the reality of life without "Grannie" will truly feel real.
William stated: "My grandmother famously said that grief was the price we pay for love. All of the sadness we will feel in the coming weeks will be testament to the love we felt for our extraordinary Queen."
The Prince of Wales also said, "I will honour her memory by supporting my father, The King, in every way I can."
