People across UK continue paying respects to Queen Elizabeth NHK

Many people continue to pay their respects to Britain's Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where she died.

Hundreds of mourners lined up outside the castle on Saturday to leave flowers and messages. Among them were people who had traveled from England by bus.

One man drove nine and half hours from London with his wife and two children. He expressed his gratitude to the Queen, saying her dedication to the country set a great example for the British people.

In London, a special area for floral tributes has been set up in Green Park near Buckingham Palace, after the palace became awash with flowers from well-wishers.

On Saturday, numerous bouquets were laid in the park as many people visited there. A family was seen writing a message to the Queen, as well as a couple hugging each other in tears.
