Russian investigators say a gunman has shot and killed 15 people, including 11 children, at a school in central Russia.
The shooting took place on Monday in the city of Izhevsk, about 1,000 kilometers east of Moscow.
Russia's Investigative Committee says 24 people, including 22 children, were wounded.
The investigators say the gunman, who killed himself on the spot, is in his 30s and a graduate from the school.
A senior member of Russia's lower house of parliament says there is information that the attacker had two modified guns.
Izhevsk has a population of more than 600,000.
Footage from the scene shows the wounded being carried on stretchers to ambulances.
The investigators say the attacker was wearing a T-shirt with a Nazi symbol printed on it. They are looking into the background of the incident.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said President Vladimir Putin has expressed his sympathy for the victims. Peskov said he believes that the gunman apparently belongs to a neo-Nazi group.
