A series of explosions rocked the city center of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv on Monday morning. Authorities say eight people have died and 24 were injured. Smoke rose from central Kyiv after the explosions. Several cars were burning at the site. Emergency crews were seen extinguishing vehicle fires. Debris was scattered on the street. Footage obtained from Reuters shows injured people lying on the ground and receiving treatment nearby. Explosions were also reported in other parts of the country. The governor of the western region of Lviv said on social media an energy facility was attacked on Monday morning. He warned of more attacks and called on people to stay in a safe place.
