Three explosions heard in Kyiv NHK

NHK crew members in Ukraine's capital Kyiv have heard at least three explosions in the city center.

Local media say there are casualties.

Smoke rose from central Kyiv after the explosions on Monday morning.

Several cars were burning at the site. Emergency crews were seen extinguishing vehicle fires. Debris was scattered on the street.

Footage obtained from Reuters shows injured people lying on the ground and receiving treatment nearby.

It was not immediately clear what caused the explosions.
Air raid warnings had been issued for all of Ukraine since early Monday morning.
