Leaders of the Group of Seven nations will hold talks on Tuesday to coordinate a response to Russian missiles that slammed into Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine. A German government spokesperson told reporters on Monday that G7 leaders will hold an online emergency meeting. The talks are scheduled to start at noon, UTC. Officials said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will join in during a portion of the meeting. The spokesperson said the leaders will discuss the recent escalation in the situation in Ukraine. They are expected to condemn the Russian assault and express their united support for Ukraine. The talks come after Russia unilaterally annexed southern and eastern regions of Ukraine in late September.
