The remark by the military&#039;s top general is drawing attention, as the junta has refused dialogue with opposition groups since seizing power in 2021.
                
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing gave a briefing on the fighting to the highest decision-making body on Monday.
He warned that if such groups continue acting foolishly, there will be a negative impact on residents in certain regions.
                
He added that it is &quot;necessary to consider the lives of the people, and those organizations need to solve their problems politically.&quot;
                
Militants from three groups launched a coordinated offensive in October in the country&#039;s eastern Shan state.
One group announced that over 100 soldiers had been killed last week in a single day.
                
Since the coup nearly three years ago, the top general has designated pro-democracy forces and their armed minority allies as terrorists, refusing any dialogue with them.
