Russian forces are reportedly intensifying attacks on a village on the front lines in southern Ukraine.
                
Britain&#039;s defense ministry said on Wednesday that it is highly likely that Russian forces are increasing their ground attacks on Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia. The village, which connects to the transport hub of Tokmak, has remained a key battleground.
                
The ministry says that as fighting stalls, Russian forces are trying to increase the number of soldiers and rebuild their strength.
                
It also suggested that Russian forces have stepped up attacks across several points along the front lines over the past week, aiming to scatter Ukrainian forces.
                
The Institute for the Study of War, a US think tank, said on Wednesday that Russian forces are advancing westward of Robotyne.
                
Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed on Tuesday that Russian troops had regained control of Krynky, a village on the Dnipro River&#039;s eastern bank in the southern Kherson region.
