The Japanese women&#039;s soccer team has hit a patch of impressive form, and the timing couldn&#039;t be better. On Monday, the Nadeshiko topped Group C at the World Cup by dismantling Spain 4-0.
                
Japan, ranked 11th in the world, was ruthless in the counterattack against a formidable European opponent ranked 6th. Both teams were aiming to top the group.
                
Miyazawa Hinata latched onto a through ball to open the scoring in the 12th minute.
